Who the free website is for
The free website is for businesses already trading and taking card payments through eCom Pay. Two kinds of business qualify.
- Trading ecommerce businesses processing £5,000 a month or more in card revenue through eCom Pay.
- Trading restaurants and takeaways taking card payments through eCom Pay, with no monthly minimum.
Start-ups and new openings
If you are just starting out or about to open, you are still welcome to apply. We look at start-ups case by case, based on your plans and expected card turnover, and we will talk it through with you before deciding.
Businesses outside these two groups, or under the £5,000 threshold, can have the same website on a pay monthly plan from £50 a month plus VAT.

The AI chatbot, AI page builder, managed advertising, hardware and custom development are add ons and are priced separately, plus VAT.
Your card payments
All card payments taken on the website run through your eCom Pay merchant account for as long as you have the website. Other payment methods can run alongside eCom Pay, but eCom Pay card payments cannot be replaced with another card processor while you keep the free website.
If you leave eCom Pay
The website belongs to eCom Pro and is provided to you while your card payments run through eCom Pay. If you move your card processing to another provider, close your eCom Pay account, or your eCom Pay account is closed, the free website ends and is taken offline. You keep your domain name, your product data, your customer list and your content, and we will export them for you on request.
Minimum term
The free website has a minimum term of 12 months from the day it goes live, in line with your eCom Pay merchant agreement. If your card processing moves elsewhere inside the minimum term, the remaining build and hosting value becomes payable as set out in your agreement.
Turnover
For ecommerce businesses, we review card turnover every three months. If turnover sits under £5,000 a month for three months in a row we will talk to you about moving to a pay monthly plan. We never switch the website off without speaking to you first.
Fair use
The website is for the business named on the application and the products or services declared on it. Changing what you sell without telling eCom Pay can affect your merchant account, so tell us first.
