Sharfin designed and built our new website to enable us to accept online payments. The new website looks amazing and navigating around it so simple compared to what we had before. Sharfin and his team have always been available when we have required any technical support or assistance.
Shopify payment gateway integration, set up properly
Shopify only accepts payment providers it has approved, and each one connects differently. We check your provider is supported, connect it, switch on the wallets and test the checkout before customers see it.
- Approved third party providers connected
- Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay where available
- Checkout tested on desktop and mobile
Can you use a third party payment gateway on Shopify?
Yes, if the provider is approved by Shopify. The provider's app is installed and connected, wallets are switched on where your plan allows and the checkout is tested. Shopify may add its own transaction fee for third party providers depending on your plan. eCom Pro sets it up and tells you what applies first.
Need a payment provider Shopify does not offer by default?
Shopify Payments is not available for every business or every product. Moving to an approved third party provider is possible, but the account, the app and the checkout settings all have to line up.
- We confirm your provider is approved for Shopify
- Provider app installed and connected
- Checkout, refunds and notifications tested

Built by the team behind 200+ websites
eCom Pro has built websites and checkouts since 2007. We integrate the payment provider you already use, or help you choose one. For specialist sectors we usually recommend eCom Pay.
Done all our website. It now accepts payments and it was very complex. Reachable at all sorts of odd hours, and had a very simple journey with sharfin. Highly recommend them and their expertise.
Sharfin was an absolute pro. Took time to really try to understand our needs and propose solutions which fit our budget and timescales. He made smart suggestions without being pushy but improving the plan so we didn't waste time or resources on things we don't need.
Everything we offer is run by the team that built your website and connected your payments, so there is one number to call and one bill. We have worked this way since 2007.
Shopify payment integration questions
Can I use a payment provider other than Shopify Payments?
Yes, as long as the provider is approved by Shopify. We check that first, then connect it and test the checkout.
Is Shopify payment integration quoted per job?
Yes. After a free look at your store and provider you get one fixed price before any work starts.
Will Shopify charge extra for a third party provider?
Shopify can add its own transaction fee when you use a third party provider, depending on your plan. We tell you what applies to your store before you switch.
Can you move my Shopify store to WooCommerce instead?
Yes. If you want full control of the checkout and the provider, we rebuild on WooCommerce and carry your products and customers across.
